Riverside Days & Nights: the literary and artistic community of inter-war Hammersmith

As part of our series of illustrated talks highlighting the artistic heritage of Hammersmith, Alan Powers, writer and lecturer on twentieth century art, architecture and design, takes us on a virtual tour of the artists and writers who lived on or close to the river in Hammersmith. Among those appearing in the cast will be: Maxwell Fry, Robert Graves, Hubert de Cronin Hastings, Gertrude Hermes, Eric and Celandine Kennington and the Footprints Workshop, Len Lye, Naomi Mitchinson, Nancy Nicholson, Eric Ravilious, Laura Riding and Julian Trevelyan.

Arrive from 7.00pm to view the Greenside Mural, hear more about our campaign and have a drink with friends.

Doors open at 7.00pm for 7.30pm. Bar (donations)
