Getting personal about plastics: one woman’s fight for zero waste

Tuesday 6 November, 7-8pm, The Duchess of Cambridge,

If you watched Blue Planet and wondered what you could do to help, come and meet Makayla Drummond-Murray from the Source Bulk Foods in Turnham Green.

An accountant by training, she’s taken a hard look at the impact her lifestyle was having on the planet.

She made a commitment to cut out plastic waste and this February opened her store in Chiswick, where customers can buy all the products using their own containers.

Makayla will tell us her story about the challenges of creating a new kind of business.

And she’ll share her very practical ideas for changing daily habits and reducing waste both in businesses and at home.

Reserve your FREE place with Eventbrite.

And before that…
