TV question writer and researcher Stewart McCartney is fascinated by genealogy, and will talk about the research skills needed to build your own family tree. Though born in God’s own county – Yorkshire – he has established that an entire branch of his ancestors, including his grandfather, lived in and around the Askew Road area.

Stewart will outline the fascination of finding out about his ancestry while highlighting the tools of the trade that are available to anybody wishing to pursue this engrossing walk into the past.
